This class explores the relationship between written and visual forms of expression through fine art and graphic design. Students will work in both traditional and digital media. No class 4/17 and 5/29. April 3-June 5



Jewelry and Metals (This class is open to 12 year olds)

Students will gain hands on knowledge of jewelry making and metalsmithing techniques including soldering, piercing, etching and embellishing in copper, nickel and brass. Interactive Sculpture (Postponed)

In this class, students will create interactive art pieces through the use of basic fabrication techniques and  programmable circuits. Projects will include low-res sound sculptures, interactive light projects and simple drawing machines. This class is designed to teach beginners how to use elementary circuits and to create simple programs. Students will learn to embed electronics in various forms of craft and sculpture for a unique approach to interactivity. Students must come with their own laptop each week. No class 4/19. April 5-May 24

Students will have the chance to discover the versatility and vibrance of oils and work in a studio setting. This course will cover the fundamentals of oil painting including color-mixing, layering, brush technique and more. No class 4/29, 5/13 or 5/27. April 1-June 3

Enameling is the process of fusing glass onto metal. Enamels are available in a rainbow of colors, as well as small glass flower chips and decal sheets. In this class, students are introduced to the principles of metal preparation, enamel application and finishing process. All levels welcome! No class 4/29, 5/13 or 5/27. April 1-June 3
