Thursdays: noon to 8 p.m.
Fridays - Sundays: noon to 6 p.m. Admission is free.

Wednesday, December 2: 6 - 9 p.m.
Gala Party to honor Colleen Messing
With exquisite food by the Fireplace Restaurant, this Opening Night celebration includes exclusive Trunk Shows from nationally known craft artists Randall Darwall and Brian Murphy, Erica DeMarco, and Ford+Forlano. You will also get the first view of this year's Crafts Showcase treasures.

Brookline's First Light Festival 2009
Thursday, December 3: 5 - 8 p.m.
Shop for beautiful gifts at the Craft Showcase. From 6:45 - 7:15 pm, enjoy holiday music from the handbell group, the Back Bay Ringers. Perfect for a family outing. Free Admission.
Postcards from My Life
Opening reception: Sunday, December 6, 3 - 5 p.m.
A gallery exhibition of fabric collage artworks by Brookline-based artist Isabella Frost that spans the globe in the unique visual language that Frost has developed over many years of embroidery and fabric collage.
You Can Win This Quilt!
December 3 - 20
The one of a kind quilt seen above was made by Brookline-based quilter Marie-Alice Gately was inspired by the Brookline Arts Center, its classes and its talented artists. The quilt will be the grand prize in a fundraising raffle during Crafts Showcase.

Moms, Dads and Tots Shopping
Wednesday, December 9: 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.
Art activities introduce preschoolers to art creation, while Mom, Dad, Nana, Bubbe or Grandpa have fun with low-key holiday shopping, plus a chance to relax and get to know each other. Instructed by BAC intern Molly Douglas. Free Admission
Wine Tasting and Jewelry Showcase
Featuring wine presentation by Gerry Finnegan of the Washington Square Tavern
Thursday, December 10: 6 - 8 p.m.
Educate your palate with some new and delicious wines, introduced by an expert. Our artists will also bring new jewelry this night only for the true jewelry lovers. This is your chance to shine (and sparkle!) Thanks to the Brookline Liquor Mart for their wine donation, and for the expert wine discussion by Kevin. Free admission.
Jazz Brunch, honoring Art Treasure Jim Solomon
Thursday, December 10: 6 - 8 p.m.
Brookline restauranteur Jim Solomon, of The Fireplace will be honored with a brunch party on Sunday, December 13 from 10 a.m. to noon. His chefs will also be there, providing their unique treats made from fresh, local New England ingredients. Tickets are available, and all money raised by the Brunch Event honoring Jim Solomon will support scholarships for low-income students at the Brookline Arts Center. The Fireplace Restaurant is a New England grill with an emphasis on wood-smoked and rotisserie dishes, run by community-minded Chef Jim Solomon.Tickets: $35.
Scotch Tasting and Men's Shopping Night

Yum! Nothing makes a winter afternoon more fun than fine chocolate. Come in to see what's new from our Crafts Showcase artists, bring your best friend(s) and shop together while you enjoy fine desserts and chocolates from a fine local restaurant. Free Admission.
