Press Release - February 22, 2007 - A month of Photography at the Brookline Arts Center
Upcoming Free Photo Salons at the Brookline Arts Center
Come to the Brookline Arts Center during the month of March and explore the world of photography. At the free Photo Discussion Salons, led by local professional photographers, photographers and art lovers discover new techniques while getting feedback in a relaxed environment. This month the BAC is also exhibiting two photographers who are taking traditional photography and transcending the way the viewer looks at composition and meaning. In the downstairs gallery see Chandra Meesig’s backs of photographs, while upstairs observe Naveed Nour’s Momento, black and white images that bring the world to the viewer’s fingertips.
The exhibits and salons are free events offered by the Brookline Arts Center to the community. The salons are for people interested in learning more about photography, as well as professional or amateur photographers. It is highly encouraged that participants bring in their work to share with the group. Both digital and film photographers are welcome.
