Make a puppet version of any creature you can imagine with these simple materials!
What You’ll Need:
hot glue and hot glue gun
Measure out two lines that extend the length of the end of the clothespins to their springs. This will be the “mouth” of your puppet.
Draw the shape of your puppet around this “mouth” line. Your puppet can be an animal, a person, or whatever else you can imagine! Just make sure to center the shape of your puppet around the mouth line.
Fill in the details of your puppets – eyes, lips, teeth, hair, fins, beards, jewelry, etc.
Use the markers to color in your puppet’s features.
Cut out your puppets and cut them in half along the “mouth” line.
Glue the top half of your puppet to the top side of the clothespin (the end opposite of the one you pinch with your fingers to open the clothespin) and glue the lower part of your puppet to the bottom side of the clothespin.
