What You’ll Need:

cardboard (any size, just a flat sheet)
extra cardboard
paper
ruler
fun objects to glue onto the frames (i.e. yarn, plastic strips, other 3D recycled materials)
scissors
glue
paint and/or drawing materials to add more decoration
tape
x-acto knife to cut out the frame hole and an adult’s help!

Step 1: With scissors and the help of a trustworthy adult, cut a flap off of a cardboard box.

Step 2: Draw a large shape that takes up most of the cardboard rectangle. Cut out the shape.

Step 3: Draw a small rectangle or another cool shape where you want your photo to go. Have an adult help you cut out that shape with an x-acto knife.

Step 4: With the funky recycled materials, markers, paint, and crayons you’ve gathered, start to decorate your frame! You can use regular Elmer’s glue for most flat pieces and hot glue for thicker materials.

Step 5: Make a cool drawing or take a picture and print it to tape to the back of the frame! Trace your frame opening onto your drawing so you know where to place it. Tip: Cut the drawing with a small boarder around your drawn rectangle.

Step 6: Hang it up in your room!
