Here’s a fun activity to do with someone you’ve been quarantining with! If you prefer, you can try it with a 3-D object instead of a person. Note: Please do not attempt if there are any health concerns. Both parties should agree and be comfortable with doing this activity. As always, be sure to wash your hands before and after!

What You’ll Need:

Step 1:
Your partner will hold your piece of paper so that it doesn’t slip while you draw. Gently place your finger on the center of your partner’s forehead. With your eyes closed, begin to slowly and very carefully trace down the center of their face with your finger. Using your drawing hand, simultaneously draw the contour you perceive as you work your way down their face.

Step 2:
Your touch contour drawing is the profile of your partner’s face. And now it’s their turn! They can repeat the same step.

Step 3:
Once you have both done each other’s profile, feel free to add other elements. If it is safe, you can trace lips, eyebrows, and other contours of the face. Bonus if you can do it without looking at your paper or letting your marker up until you’re done! Double bonus if you can do it without laughing.
