Our popular ArtVentures program for children blends fun with learning through a balance of structured projects, creative expression and play. We promote artistic exploration while developing technique and critical-thinking skills. Each theme is explored through a variety of mediums and imaginative projects.

Our weekly programs culminate in a mini art show and tell designed to showcase and celebrate each child’s artistic accomplishments.

Registration closes Friday at 5:00PM the week before each class is scheduled to start. Please contact office@brooklineartscenter.com Monday-Friday between 9:00AM-5:30PM with any questions.

Financial aid is available for all classes. Learn more.

FROST FEST! (Virtual)
December 7-11 (Monday-Friday)
Teachers: Emily Iannarilli & Kaleigh Kuehl

It’s getting chilly out there! In this week we explore all the wild and wonderful things cold weather has to offer us! We’ll travel to the Arctic, the tundra, and the chilly streets of our own neck of the woods. We’ll learn about blizzards, world holidays, and tales of giant snowmen and big footed creatures up in snowy mountains! Just make sure you’ve got you’ve coat on! Projects include landscape painting, air dry clay sculpture, diorama art, and more!

In this virtual format, students will receive a number of lessons to work on at home, along with a recommended materials list. The teacher will begin each day with a video introduction to the activities via Zoom. Students will also engage with the teacher and their classmates in real-time group activities and conclude the week with a group Show and Tell!

Video Sessions: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 3:30-5:00PM

NOTE: Links to lessons and video sessions will be shared via email. Zoom videos will be recorded and made available for students who are unable to attend the scheduled time.
