Students will take brief walks (weather allowing) to collect natural sources of inspiration that will be turned into sketches and paintings of naturalist art. FORM AND COLOR

In this class students will learn to accurately convey and control color  in their art. Students will be introduced to color theory and the relationships between colors on the page. Lessons include line drawing, sketching and gesture with a focus on using color to bring life to your artwork. Experienced students will build on prior knowledge and master the use of materials while beginners will build a foundation of knowledge necessary for excellent technique.
