The Brookline Arts Center is seeking proposals for a six-month public art installation in beautiful Monmouth Park. Artist(s) selected will design, create and exhibit their proposed installation.
All artists residing in United States are eligible to apply. Applicants must have prior experience in public art, site responsive design and project management. All applications must be entered online through the BAC’s submission form.
Selected artist(s) will receive a stipend of $1,000. Artist(s) are expected to create a site-specific, original installation for Monmouth Park. A site visit prior to submitting a proposal is strongly encouraged. In addition to the installation, one public talk and/or workshop should be developed and presented by the artist(s) with the goal of enriching the community through artistic engagement.
