The BAC’s Gallery Program features opportunities for artists to share their work in a truly unique space. Our galleries offer an environment where visitors are invited to experience exhibitions outside of the traditional white box setting, allowing for an intimate exploration of the work. Our call for proposals encourages solo artists and groups of all levels to organize and present a professional exhibition with the guidance and support of our staff.
The BAC’s Annex Gallery is an installation-based space that promotes viewing within and beyond the building’s walls. With full windows on two sides, the room provides a perfect setting for site-specific works.
The BAC’s Studio Gallery provides space for wall-based work and small sculptures. Works on exhibit are viewable in working studio spaces, adding to an active and dynamic environment. The Studio Gallery serves as inspiration for students and visitors who use the spaces for a variety of classes, workshops and events throughout the year.
Local, national and international artists are eligible for consideration. All applications must be entered online through the BAC’s submission form.
Proposals should be made in consideration of the BAC’s gallery space. Visiting us before applying is strongly encouraged. No alterations to the gallery space should be made without prior written permission from the Executive Director including, but not limited to ceiling screws and painting the walls. The artist(s) must supply any A/V equipment necessary for the exhibit.
