Gather from Home/Elsewhere

  • Plastic cup for water/slip
  • Plastic to wrap work and bag of clay (trash bags work well)
  • Spray bottle to rehydrate clay while working (a sponge also works)
  • Canvas drop cloth for your table to help ease clean up
  • 3 pieces of approximately 12″ x 12″ cardboard or masonite board for clay storage

*Projects will not be food safe.

Portland Pottery

Gather from Home/Elsewhere

  • Plastic cup with a lid for slip
  • Plastic to wrap work (trash bags work well)
  • Spray bottle to rehydrate clay while working (a sponge also works)
  • Canvas drop cloth – Home Depot (or elsewhere)
  • Binder Clips or Bulldog clips to secure drop cloth to table (4 needed)
  • Small-medium brush
  • Medium bucket for water
  • 3 pieces of approximately 12″ x 12″ cardboard or masonite board for clay storage

Students will be given the opportunity to drop off their work at the BAC, where it will be fired with the glaze of their choice!

Glazes for Teen and Adult Pottery Classes

Here are your glaze choices for teen and adult pottery! Color mixing is not available for virtual classes. Colors will be true to their test tiles. Please sign your name and glaze code at the bottom of each piece you make according to the packet that will be sent out with your Welcome Email. This step should be completed before dropping off your work at the BAC to be glazed and fired.
