Make beautiful jewelry with instruction from a working artist. They will guide you to shape, polish, solder, pierce, etch and embellish jewelry in copper and brass. Hollow forms, stone settings, stone inlay, repousse and reticulation will also be introduced.

Do you need some extra time in the Jewelry and Metals Studio, or just want to drop-in when your schedule allows? Stop by for open studio time! Only students with prior jewelry and metals experience may sign up for these sessions. Open studio time does not include instruction. Each session is first come, first served until space is full. (10 class pass is like a “punch card”. Pass can be used during two consecutive sessions, beginning with the session in which it was purchased. Passes may not roll over following the second session.)

Enameling is the process of fusing glass onto metal. Enamels are available in a rainbow of colors, as well as small glass flower chips and decal sheets. In this class, students are introduced to the principles of metal preparation, enamel application and finishing process. All levels welcome!
