Description Join us for a unique printmaking experience as we explore Monotype, a technique that never produces two of the same print. In this workshop, you will create a series of your own prints! Description The goal of this workshop is to recreate an original piece of work based on a famous piece of art, a Master Copy! Students should come prepared with a piece of artwork that they respond positively to. Students will also have the opportunity to choose from a selection of original masterpieces provided by the teacher. Students will go around and introduce each other and describe why they chose the piece that they did. Students will be directed to select five colors from the artwork they brought in and will be prompted to incorporate new objects and themes into their new original paintings. We will think about color, composition, and value. Students will gain an introduction to color theory, and learn basic acrylic painting skills.

Description Join us for a night of exploring the curious world of the human form in our Figure Drawing Studio. This is an open studio format with no instruction provided. We will start with quick warm-ups and short poses and then move into longer poses.
We encourage artists who join to explore the use of different materials, drawing styles, and techniques (dry media only, please). Participants must bring their own materials. There is no instructor present and no instruction will be provided. Advanced registration is preferred but not required.
Pre-Registered price will be $20 or the Door price will be $25 Day-Of. Pre-registered tickets will be available to reserve until Thursday at midnight. We accept cash and card at the door.

In this 2-Day Workshop, students will learn how to form and solder links to make their own handmade chain in copper or brass. Description Learn the art of cameraless photography by creating one of a kind cyanotypes from nature! Enjoy the timeless process of botanical printing used to expand and create modern artful cyanotypes by exploring the additions of texture and color in fun ways. You will be sure to make exciting discoveries all throughout this process and make one of a kind prints! This includes learning how to coat paper to make cyanotypes, exploring exposure times, and developing prints.

Description Looking for a clay experience that is leisurely and meditative? This coil building workshop focuses on creating forms by hand that can range from functional to sculptural, and from representational to abstract. We will explore a range of techniques to incorporate organic textures and shapes into your pieces! This workshop is ideal for those who are interested in expanding their ceramics outside of the wheel, and all levels of experience are welcome.
All artworks will be available for pick up 4-6 weeks after class. You will be contacted when your pieces are ready to be picked up. No previous ceramic knowledge is required.
