  • Art and The World Around Us

    Description In this mixed media class, students will explore and reflect on the world around us through art. Students will create paintings, drawings, and mixed media art pieces depicting things found in nature and the city. Through step-by-step instruction, students will learn how to draw animals, buildings, people, and more!

  • Characters and Comics

    Description Holy creative outlet, Batman! This class invites young cartoonists to dive into their love of making comics. We’ll take the process from beginning to end: building characters, crafting expressions and poses, selecting shots, inking and color, and generally bringing our stories to life. With a combination of projects, games, silly warmups, and practice exercises, this class aims to help young artists find their comics voices–and use them.

  • Introduction to Drawing

    Description Drawing is where art begins! This class is perfect for young artists who want to grow their skills. Projects in this class are designed to both develop students' technical ability and build up their creativity. Students will explore different drawing media, from graphite to charcoal to colored pencil and pastels, at the same time learning how to use those tools to draw more realistic, expressive, and imaginative images. Whether your child is a practiced artist or is picking up a pencil or brush for the first time, this class is a great opportunity to develop new drawing techniques and skills!

    Description This hands-on pottery program will introduce students to wheel throwing and hand building fundamentals. Explore your creativity while learning various techniques for creating your own mugs, bowls, and other unique pieces!

  • Adventures in Clay

  • Making Mythical Monsters

    Ages 5-7

    Description Have you ever been to the zoo and wished you could see dragons and unicorns instead of just lions and tigers? Join us for an imagination intensive, reading about and recreating our favorite fantasy beasts in a variety of creative mediums. Take a walk through your imagination as we paint, draw and sculpt both real and imaginary fantastical characters and creatures.

  • Fun with Color

    Ages 5-7

    Description This mixed media class will explore colour and shape through a variety of mediums including pastels, paint, drawing, and collage. Students will have the opportunity to work at different scales, practice working in partners and small groups, and individually. This class is perfect for any child interested in making colourful and exciting process-driven art!

  • Winter Wonder Stations

    Ages 2-8

    Description In this biweekly class, enjoy spending time with your little one while creating beautiful moments together. Parents and caretakers will join their children in a variety of artistic experiences. From sensory and fine motor, to seasonal-themed crafts, families work together to transform 2D and 3D materials into artistic creations. Alongside craft projects are stations for movement, play and stories.

    Each registration allows 1 child and 1 parent. If you plan to bring more than one child, you may click on "Additional Child" for $25 in session options. Only select "Additional Child" if you have another child ages 2-8 who will be participating in the program.

  • Family Clay Play

    Ages 5-12

    Description In this biweekly class, enjoy spending time with your family while creating beautiful moments together. Parents and caretakers will join their children in exploring the tactical world of ceramics. From exploring sensory and fine motor, to learning hand-building fundamentals, families work together to transform a block of clay into a collaborative clay creation. Alongside craft projects are stations for movement, play and stories. This class does not include wheelthrowing.

    Each registration allows 1 child and 1 parent. If you plan to bring more than one child, you may click on "Additional Child" for $25 in session options. Only select "Additional Child" if you have another child ages 5-12 who will be participating in the program.
